Do you know where to go for holidays and relaxation?

Certainly, in the Crimea

Although in Crimean Resorts as yet the service is not of the highest level offered by the best West European Resorts, here are all the conditions for relaxation and enjoyment, and Health Resorts too.  Crimea has an unique combination of superb conditions for holiday activities and health improvement.

Excellent ‘Health-Centres’, many being superior in technology to Western ones…. bright sunshine…the soft embrace of warm seas…with choice of innumerable beautiful sandy or light pebbly beaches, natural-muds of medical significance, hot mineral-springs, salt-springs.  The unique countryside and landscapes of Crimea are impossible to find elsewhere!  So many extraordinary Natural Monuments, so much Cultural History – of many Millennia, much of which has World Importance!  All of Crimea is a great open-air Museum and Experience!

To go into the Crimean mountains is an unforgettable experience – hiking by foot, by motor travel, or even by helicopter….or by cable-car up onto Aye-Petri – these things will amaze you, we promise!

There are so many ways to enjoy the visit….horse riding on thoroughbreds or hacks, yachting, little boats on the Black Sea, water-ski when you want, tennis….?  Plenty!  And the night-life….so many places of entertainment – casinos, bars, restaurants….or just promenade in safety in the silky night air under the blazing stars.

But it is completely Impossible to tell in few words…or any words…of the Crimean Experience.  You must see, feel, live it yourself.  Historically the Crimea has been the greatest centre of Summer Holiday in all of the Former Russian Empire and then the Soviet Union.  For good reason the mightiest Russian rulers and wealthiest Princes had their holiday palaces here….to be seen and visited today.  For good reason Crimea is still the favourite place of so many Lovers and Adventurers…..

There are uncountable paths and ways along and across the peninsula of Crimea – especially in the rolling southern mountains.  Most interesting routes go through charming, unexpected, lovely and scenic vistas in the Mountains of Crimea… and inevitably reach the sea.

Travelling?  Every route is available: safe hiking on foot, going by bus, by sea, or all combinations.  More?  The more expensive – helicopter, plane!  But traditionally the most popular has always been bus and hiking on foot.

In the Crimea you can travel to enjoy its natural wonders …or just relax, but also have the opportunity to learn of many other aspects of local, natural, and ancient cultures.  These may include the Xersones lost in the mist of time, or the sad Glories of Sebastopol, Balaklava, Alma, the ‘Thin Red Line’, the ‘Charge of the Light Brigade’, indelibly written into History by poets and heroes.

So much… the ‘Tsar’s Barrow’ and ‘Adzhimuchgay’ at Kerch, the extraordinary millennia-old Scythian ‘Naples’ at Simferopol, the unique ‘cave-cities’ at Chufut-Kalays, Mangup-Kalays, Eski-Kerman…settlements of the medieval city-state of Genoa established at Mishor.  And the Botanical Gardens of Nikita, the “Ghost Valley”.   Perhaps to scramble up the “Bolshoi (Great) Canyon” which is in miniature like the ‘Grand Canyon’ of USA, to dive into the “Pool of Eternal Youth”, fantasize in a New World….the Uchan-Su, the falling waters of Zhur-Zhur …. and even much more.
